TAST week 47 - Portuguese border stitch

 
Another new stitch I learned from TAST. Thank you Sharon. I just loved this stitch and did not have to think  long for a suitable design! I am using the metallic thread for the first time and  I had difficulty stitching  the outline as the strands spread out and tangled while working.

I knew you would come up with something wonderful - as you always do. Oh, that tail!
Metallic threads give an elegant look and are perfect for the peacok, but they ARE difficult to work with.
